I am dying to know what caused the great feuds between
Dollypop and Albin
Namo and Voiceanth
Jose/Broadway Bulldog and everybody (Jose:
)
and any other famous feuds on here.

Posted: 8/16/04 at 6:10pmYES!!! ANOTHER EXCUSE FOR A STORY!!! Where's sum? Sum tells a beautiful story.....*wide-eyes*
#2re: Where did the fighting begin?
Posted: 8/16/04 at 6:11pmThe funny thing is I bet some people don't even know why they're fighting anymore.
#3re: Where did the fighting begin?
Posted: 8/16/04 at 6:11pmBM, sum is gone.

#4re: Where did the fighting begin?
Posted: 8/16/04 at 6:13pmGone to where? Sum hasn't left forever, right? He'll be back soon, right? *sobs hysterically*
#5re: Where did the fighting begin?
Posted: 8/16/04 at 6:13pmApparently he asked Rob to delete his account.

#6re: Where did the fighting begin?
Posted: 8/16/04 at 6:14pmI'm afraid he has had Rob delete his account (although I'm not sure if that has happened yet). You might have read it from Sum himself, if his farewell thread was STILL HERE.

Priest's answer is correct also.

Oh this has as easy answer. I have a very hard time with pompous windbags who puff themselves up and take stances that they probably don't actually even believe for the sake of riling people up. In other words, I just can't tolerate phoney baloney posing.
This is why I have such a hard time with Jose. Under either of his personae. He claims to be "for a better Broadway" and trashed Caroline, Or Change for months without seeing the show. Said those of us who loved it were sheep falling for The Emperor's New Clothes. Accused the producers of "selling out for the money" in the move of the show to Broadway, even though the producers were all on record going in saying they were pretty sure they would be losing their investments. Then of course, Jose actually got around to seeing the show, liked it, listens to the recording, likes it even more, and I think, "Well, what was with all the ill-informed phoney baloney BS you didn't think twice about posting for all those months?" And where are the gold stars that those of us who KNEW it was good get to wear for a) knowing that and b) putting up with crap like Jose's?
Anthony is very similar. He's not as bright as he likes to pretend he is and he's nowhere near as above the fray of Broadway as he likes to presume. His opera training pomposity would be bearable if he had actually made something of his life. But 95% of his posts were complete BS, goading people with proclamations about people like Christina Aguilera. All that high brow stuff goes right out the window when he wants to argue that lip synching pop stars are somehow "better" than Broadway and cabaret performers because they've made a lot of money.
Phoney baloney. That's what makes me feud with somebody. I may get people riled up now and again, but it's never over a stance I have taken JUST to get people going. I actually believe the things I write.

Oh I've said these things to both of them in the threads and in PMs. Anthony has never come back with anything substantive other than making fun of me for eating habits that he has imagined or saying that I am secretly stalking him. I think it was just the only thing he could come up with because he knew I was onto him. Still, it will be interesting to see if he can come up with anything real.
You'll probably have to put his name in the thread title to get his attention. He isn't particularly interested in threads he doesn't start or that have nothing to do with Madonna.

Posted: 8/16/04 at 7:04pmI was wondering what happened to Sum's farewell thread... I think it's BS that it was deleted but some of the crap topics are still here... but whatever. It's not my board, and I'm going to shut up now.

Strange... but in the Namo v. Anth debate, I have to side with Namo's presentation of the case.
Ah well, back to the meeting.
"My name is Chris, and I'm a Namo victim."

Oh Mama, I love feuds, and at the moment this one is a classic!
And Namo is getting some good body blows in, c'mon Count, spread your bat wings!
