Question................where do we think Wisteria Lane is...in what state? Last week, Gabby and Carlos were on Victor's yacht in the ocean. They didn't say which ocean......Atlantic or Pacific. Or, how they got there...........a long drive, etc....
Then in 2 weeks, a tornando hits Wisteria Lane... I wonder what state.....
Universal City, California.
hehe jk.
A tornado? I always thought it was California. Hm, good question.

Here is a thread discussing this very thing:

I'm not sure they reach a conclusion - but I guess the show has referenced a fictional "Fairview, Eagle State" as the location.

I've always thought it was Southern California since the weather always seems warm and the wisteria is always in bloom.
mauriposa-I knew I had seen a Wisteria Lane before, I just couldn't remember where. Thanks for reminding me!

It takes place in Mississippi. All the license plates say "The Eagle State" which is Mississippi...

Neddy, what the hell are you smoking. Mississipi license plates do NOT have anything on them but Mississippi.
The state bird is the Mockingbird, and the state motto is VIRTUTE et ARMIS
nothing to do with eagles.
everyone knows Wisteria lane is in Southern California

The license plates do not say Mississippi. They say THE EAGLE STATE. And what the hell do you think the EAGLE state is?!
The Eagle State: This name came from the Mississippi Coat of Arms which depicts a Bald Eagle clasping arrows and an olive branch in its talons. The Mississippi Coat of Arms, based on the National Coat of Arms, can be seen on the Mississippi Great Seal.
If it took place in SoCal why would they license plate say THE EAGLE STATE?

Personally, I would go with Florida. Obviously there is ocean there, and in fact, Florida has the highest concentration per square mile of tornadoes of any state in the U.S., they're just not as severe so they're not as widely reported. It's a long shot, but it's a possibility...
