Everyone cross your fingers for good road conditions between Buffalo and Myrtle Beach on Friday and then again on Monday. We're driving down to see the parental units again.

Thanks, DG. We do it all in one day. My brothers trade off driving while I am stuck in the back seat of a Ford Escort for 15 hours...

Be sure to watch the CNN crawl to see if there's any news about a woman going berserk on I77 and strangling two men.

I'll be sure to wave hello to BWW and Mister Wilson as they load me into the police van.

I'm not getting quite as rapid a start as I expected to...

I'm cuddled up in bed with my laptop ordering last minute Christmas gifts... Easier than schlepping all over the city during the transit strike.

I think I could get used to this....

I'm doing laundry, cleaning house and packing for my trip. I got my presents all wrapped up last night and I'm gonna go to "Syriana" this afternoon as a treat to myself.

I hope your day is grand! And the days are rushing by. Spring and beacon1 will come to NYC in less than four months!
