Just got back from an undisclosed location in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Thanks for missing me! Any messages from Karl Rove?

Yes, I was missing you too -- you're my #1 source on what's happening in the States!

I feared that maybe Bush's gestapo had gotten to you or something.

They didn't get to me--I got to THEM! I was in an undisclosed location in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where the Cheneys go whenever they have to be moved to an undisclosed location.

My Republican friends are VERY worried. It's not just Rove. There are THREE leakers inside the Oval Office that Fitzgerald can indict. He's got the goods. It's just a matter of how strong a case he can build. One Republican society doyenne said, "Everyone in the White House is just a nasty tattle-mouth."

They're also worried about the war. It's not going well--something ANY hawk can see. That makes them not just worried but angry. It wasn't supposed to happen like this.

They're worried about the deficit. They've been fiscal conservatives all their lives. Republicans aren't supposed to spend like "drunken sailors."

And the thing that gets the conservative Republicans the most pissed off? Immigration. The bigotry of these Republicans is stronger than anything. Bush lets too many "goddamned [insert ethnic group] in."

Bottom line: They're not giving money to the RNC the way they used to.

PJ!!!! I'm so happy you're back! I was deathly afraid Kenny Mehlman had come to make you an offer you couldn't refuse!

I feel infinitely happier after having read your assessment of H*ll breaking loose in the Republican party!

There are no longer consequences for politicians. Are americans' homes worth SO MUCH that they've become even more placid? Bush, Rumsfeld, Bloomberg, Rove, Blair (honorary citizen). All f*cking up the world and no one cares.

obviously someone was smoking something, or as usual just making sh*t up as they go along since the rnc has set a fundraising record in the 1st half of 2005.
yep, this means they're not giving anything at all, huh?

Can you find PJ's secured location in Jackson Hole? Can you find the Cheney's? It's like "Where's Waldo?"!

ok, bush took wyoming in '04 69%-29%. craig thomas is up for re-election to the senate and he won in '00 with 73% of the vote. oddsmakers have babs cubin over ted ladd 3 to 1. dave's pretty much a lock for the dems to get re-elected as gov. so i don't see why there's a huge need for money for the wyoming gop unless they want to pour cash into trying to unseat the gov. and that's a local party thing that's probably outside the realm of what the folks in dc do or don't do. so, while the wyoming republicans sit on their wallets, the gop continues to rake in cash hand over fist at a rate of twice that of the dnc. dream on.

Alls I can say is Wyoming Republicans are angry, disappointed and disenchanted.

But maybe that's just Jackson Hole...
