brdlwyr, there is a difference between a true "locator" thread and an "appreciation" thread.

A "true" locator thread is a real call out to the ether for the spirit of a former poster to hear our pleas and come back to us....

"wrapped in mink or Sarah
Combe back to [me]..."

A "false" locator thread is one that pretends to call out, but knows the poster is just on the other side of the computer screen waiting for be "called" back to posting. Some examples of "fale" locator threads (hiding their "appreciation" status) are:

"Where's Addy?"
"Where's Rathnait [or thread title du jour]?"
"Where's Liotte?"

My call to RobbO was after he was truly MIA

There is a difference brdlywr, and as a lywr you should most certainly be aware of the distinction.
