Where should I go next?

Hey guys. So I'm in North Hollywood and have been for the last three days. I'm thinking of packing up and going somewhere else. Where should it be?

re: Where should I go next?

Never thought about Alaska...I was thinking more Hawaii.

Beav, I wouldn't dare step foot on your precious NYC.

re: Where should I go next?

Didn't you just relocate there and start a new job?
I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2.

re: Where should I go next?

Yeah, but it's not really what I had in mind. The boss mislead me and I ended up doing a lot more construction work than what I wanted to be doing and none of the office stuff he told me I'd be doing.

So I quit and now I'm just hanging out. The Jack Dawson character really appleas to me now.

Hawaii is VERY expensive to live in. Rent, food, everything......much moreso than anywhere in the 48 contigious states......so unless you have a lot of $$$ saved up, I would not suggest Hawaii......don't get me wrong, it's beautiful, but you'd better have a damn good paying job.

do you move and change jobs often?

re: Where should I go next?

Oh, Beav, I thought you lived in NY. Oops. It's not that I change jobs, it's just that I'm not going to do something I hate. I'd rather find a job I love and stick with it until I'm 90. Doing construction isn't something I enjoyed, so I got my paycheck and quit.

re: Where should I go next?

Well I would recommend NYC, but I understand that it's not for everyone. My personal list of places I would like to live includes Madison, WI; Athens, GA (the only southern city I would consider); Boulder, CO; Eugene, OR; Berkeley, CA and of course London, Paris, and Rome.
I really want to visit Alaska, but I don't think I want to live there.

re: Where should I go next?

I've thought about coming to NYC, but I might wait until I'm a little older to venture into that part of the country. Now I'm sticking with West coast and seeing what goes on out here.

yoda, funny you should mention Madison and Eugene. I graduated from the U of Oregon, and when I first saw Madison, I thought....now this reminds me of Eugene!
Both are nice.....but I prefer Eugene....

I understand captain, just wondered.

Come to CT lol

or go to Cape Cod. My cousin lives there and she told me that except for the summer, it's so quiet and nice there. Beautiful weather too :)

I've never been to Eugene, but I love Madison, which reminds me of Athens re: Where should I go next? I generally like college towns, which is why most of those are on the list.

I've only lived in one college town, and I knew everybody. Not really my kind of thing.

I really need to buy a laptop.

Elph - I would imagine there's someone in Palm Springs who would be interested in what the Captain has to offer - and I'm fairly certain he's interested in what they offer in return.

Unless you're independently wealthy, you're not going to last more than a week in NYC if you're not willing to do jobs you don't love. It's very expensive here, and very competitive in every industry.

re: Where should I go next?

You don't have to worry about me coming to NYC anytime soon, especially for the entertainment industry.

After hanging out with my friend Josh, I've gotten interesed in casting.
