My mom and I were talking about how we hated where we live now. That would be a nothing city in Indiana. My dad works with National City, so we were talking about moving to a larger more "hustle and bustle" city. My mom and I don't like it here, so we wanted to go to either

Cincinatti, OH
Columbas, OH
Toledo, OH
Philidalphea (sp?)

Where would you want to move if you had the oppurtunity to get out of a small blah nothing town? ANd why wuld you move there? WHat is in these cities that would make you move there?

I WANT OUT AND SO DOES MY MOM!! Now if only we could convince my father to want to move.

If those are the only choices, I would say Philly.
It's very historical and has cultural things both in the city and in the surrounding cities.

I'd probably say Philly also, - though if you're planning on persueing a musical theatre career -Cinci has CCM, one of the best schools around.

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

Icky choices, but of the ones listed, I'd go with Philadelphia. It's the most populated, it's close to NYC, Baltimore, and DC, and offers more to do than any of the others (not that Ohio doesn't have it's good points!)

I would echo all those who said Philly. I'm from an hour south of Toledo and spent quite a bit of time there. It's not a bad city and there are definitely things to do there, but it's not anything real great either. I also have friends and family in Columbus who hate it and want out. Can't tell you much about Cinci, though. Although if you and your mom are hoping to keep moving to cities that get progressively bigger, Toledo would be a good place to start. You the the big city feel but the surrounding suburbs and small towns won't make your dad feel so overwhelmed.

Toledo is easily the least desirable to me...

I go with Philadelphia as well...great town, public transportation, lots of sights and activities...

Columbus isn't bad--it's actually getting to be a pretty big gay community, if that is an issue...

Cincinnati also has some good points, but it's kind of a minor city...go for Philly!

Philadelphia, hands down of the four.

Phila College of the Arts
Curtis School of Music
Phila Museum of Art
The Orchestra
Franklin Institute of Science
plus the regional companies and the train to take you to other venues in (north) Princeton, New Brunswick, Newark & NY; (south) Wilmington, Balt & DC; (west) Lancaster & Harrisburg

There you have it. Philly it is.

"Applause begets applause in the theatre, as laughter begets laughter and tears beget tears." CLAYTON HAMILTON, "Theory of the Theatre" "I think theater ought to be theatrical ... you know, shuffling the pack in different ways so that it's -- there's always some kind of ambush involved in the experience. You're being ambushed by an unexpected word, or by an elephant falling out of the cupboard, whatever it is." TOM STOPPARD
