Oh, wait. I have a four CD set called THE MUSIC BEHIND THE MAGIC: THE MUSICAL ARTISTRY OF AM, HA and TR. It has that song on the fourth CD. I'm gonna go listen to it.
Just the fact that I have that set shows how big a theatre/musical nerd I REALLY am.
EDIT: It is a gorgeous song. Just imagine how suberb that movie would have been if Ashman hadn't passed away. It is great now, but he had such a vision. He was such a great loss.

Oh I am so jealous! I've always wanted that set but I was never able to find it in stores or it was just too expensive. I gave up looking long ago. Maybe it's time to start searching again...

Ashman was truly a talented man. Are you familiar with his "Once Upon a Time in New York City"? It is featured in Oliver & Company (one of my favorite animated films). I believe it was one of the first songs he wrote for the company.
He actually grew up in a neighborhood near where my father used to live when he was a child. My grandmother loves to bring that up.
