ok, here's the 'official' schedule, and it looks like the WW/DH question is moot at this point: (I have also included some other info for you tv fans...)
The OFFICIAL NBC schedule for Fall 2005:
Monday: Fathom, Las Vegas, Medium
Tuesday: The Biggest Loser*, My Name is Earl, The Office, L&O: SVU
Wednesday: The Apprentice: Martha Stewart, E-Ring, L&O
Thursday: Joey, Will & Grace, The Apprentice: Donald Trump, ER
Friday: Three Wishes, Dateline, Inconceivable
Saturday: Saturday Night Movie
Sunday: Dateline, West Wing, L&O: CI, Crossing Jordan
*Fear Factor steps in when Biggest Loser completes its cycle.
Quick descript on the new shows:
Fathom (NBC Universal): A sci-fi-ish series where what looks like a beautiful and innocuous little creature is hardly either. Starring Lake Bell, Jay R. Ferguson, Ride Serbedzija and Carter Jenkins. This show takes Lost off an island and tosses it deep into the ocean - and could be just as good.
Inconceivable (Touchstone TV): Set inside a fertility clinic, the ensemble drama stars Jonathan Cake, Rachael Lew, Joelle Carter, Mary Catherine Garrison, David Norona and Alfre Woodard (guest role).
My Name is Earl (20th): Earl was a bully and a low rent crook, and now he's won the lottery and decided this would be a good time to change his way of life. Earl heads out to correct all his wrongs. Jason Lee stars as Earl; other cast members include Jamie Pressly, Ethan Suplee and Nadine Velazquez.
E-Ring (Warner Bros. TV/Bruckheimer): The E-Ring hopes to do for the Pentagon what West Wing did for the White House and likely will. Benjamin Bratt and Dennis Hopper star.
Apprentice: Martha Stewart: The same basic format as Donald's show, though slightly altered to suit Martha's sensibilities and style. Tasks for Martha's show are what you might expect – focused in the areas of home renovation, entertaining, design and style. Mark Burnett is creator/exec prod.
Three Wishes (NBC Universal/Glassman Media): Banking on the do-good success of various reality shows that give rather than take, Three Wishes and its host Amy Grant travel the country and grant wishes to those who need it most. If EM: Home Edition gets you teary, this one will easily do the same.
Midseason:
Four Kings (Warner Bros. TV/KoMut Ent): Four lifelong buddies played by Seth Green, Shane McRae, Josh Cooke and Todd Grinnel, who all move into one of the friend's grandmother's NY apt as they all work to make their way in New York.
Thick and Thin (NBC Universal/Broadway Video): She was once an overweight woman; now thin and she embarks on a journey as a fit and single woman, living among friends and family who all still see her as fat. Jessica Capshaw stars along with Sharon Gless, Martin Mull, Mel Rodriguez and Chris Parnell.
Not on the schedule yet are Fear Factor and Scrubs, tho both are on call to return later in the season. Not returning are L&O: Trial By Jury, American Dreams, The Contender, among others. Big Ticket Items for the upcoming season include the Winter Olympics and three miniseries: The Poseidon Adventure, 10.5 Apocalypse, and an 8-hour miniseries titled “9/11”.
(oh, and the best moment of the entire presentation: Lone drummer on stage, spotlight turns on Jamie Foxx as Ray Charles singing America the Beautiful, with shots of previous Winter Olympic games on the big screen. A quick gasp of the audience and spontaneous applause. Good stuff.)
"Two drifters off to see the world. There's such a lot of world to see. . ."
