brdlwyr: I loved Colorado when I was there! (Back when my band toured the US...) We played in Grand Junction, Colorado Srpings, Denver, and Boulder. Beautiful state, and I liked Devnver a lot as a city.

DD: I've missed you, too! Just been super busy.

Shira: It turns out the El Portal gig is invitation-only, but if you can come on Thursday at 4pm, I might be able to hook you up. (PM me.)

Caldwell B. Cladwell made it. I made it most days in the flat, but the coffee they SELL isn't very good. They're not into coffee the way we (and the French, say) are. Great tea, though!

Also, no half-and-half. I had to "create" my own. I never got it right!

erika - I don't drink coffee so all of this is lost on me. I couldn't tell you the difference, hehe.

Miss P. - Yes, I did. But since they canceled all discounts for that week, I got an upper Mezz (Row G) ticket for $56. No biggie, as long as I am there, and Buzz wasn't too upset about the price!

Miss P: Oh, how sweet of you to say! Yes, that was the last time I was in NY. Back in March/April of '06. And can I tell you how truly heartbroken I am that GG is closing just days bfore I get to NY???? That show was at the very top of my list, and seeing shows is the main reason I'm coming to NY in the first place! I am crushed. Anyway, if you can't see me when I'm in town, it's OK... We always have cyberspace!

FWIW, I'm planning on joining everyone at the BWW picnic - of course, we don't know if it'll be on 8/4 or 8/11 yet, but either date works for me so far.

Erika, I am supposed to be in Michign both of those weekends in August, but I am thinking about altering my travel dates so I can come up for the picnic. If I do, we will have to catch a meal or a coffee together. My kids asked if we could go back to London next summer and I said, "Next summer we are going to California for our vacation" so that's a done deal!

Work sucks today! This morning I had a jury trial set for August. It might screw up a weekend getaway that we planned.
