Thankfully we have sun today, maybe even tomorrow. Then back to rain for the weekend.

Dame, it should be quicker than when I was 19.
We have had so much rain, it is freaky. My lawn is green and thick.

We could use a little rain.
We could use a lotta rain.
DAME, you up for dinner tonight?

Not that dinner with DAME wouldn't be great, but anyway!
*hugs*
I just...I don't want dinner at home tonight, I need to get out and escape!
*sniff*
You could come down here.
I could. But by the time I got there, it would be Monday and I'd have to fly back!
Dang.
I know! Sorry!
And, there are new restaurants I'm aching to try.
I suppose that I could send a doggy bag for you.
That would be lovlely. I've made alternate dinner arrangements. But I'll miss DG!
Sadness! I hope you two get to meet before you leave, shira.

Holy crap, my prediction was true. We had incredible storms. I have standing water in my backyard as we speak, I have seen that only once in 12 years!!!!
A pool party without the pool?

Yes! Nasty afternoon and night here! We DO NOT need any more rain.
Shipping that rain to us was too difficult?

We tried, but they took a wrong turn at Maui!
Ooh, I wish I had taken a wrong turn at Maui.

I saw a play called Wrong Turn at Lung Fish in Chicago with John Mahoney and one of the Brat Pack. (Cannot recall her name!)
Now, there's a title.

I just googled it and it was written by Garry Marshall, the TV producer and director.
Well, he certainly has a way with a title.
