Enjoy your weekend, brd!
DG - no internet either. I'm piggybacking. I have internet, apparently. I just need the modem!
And...
You KNOW the bed is the most important thing
First thing I move.

You have no shame - and you definitely belong at home here in the Mother Hussy's thread!
DG, dearie. Have I EVER had shame? No.
This thread is, in a way, a home base as well.
It's my first 'big girl' bed. As in, a bed that I chose and get to enjoy.
I SHOULD of course, mention, that it IS a queen size. Naturally.

Which explains, of course, why we have a California King
And I'm not going near the big girl bed line . . .
Good idea, DG.
I love California King beds. SO comfy and big. Oh, explains why YOU have one, than.
I'm so antsy. I just want it delivered so I can put the sheets and comforter and blanket on it so that I can feel SOMEWHAT settles.
Just don't wear a sillk nightie if you have satin sheets. You'll shoot straight out the other side.
Ooh, Andre has joined us!
Thank's for the suggestion, hep!
I'm more of a cotton gal miself. I don't do silk and satin so much! It makes me feel self-conscious.

Thank you, Shira, for not mentioning flannel.
hey, Hep - yes, Andre is in the house - and beaming, no less, as well he should be!
Flannel is yucky, DG. And scratchy and gross.
Andre is a very pretty man.
I have a queen myself.
My ex and I had a King. I've decided that it was too big.

Andre is indeed a beautiful man - on the inside, as well as out.
And you haven't had the right flannel, hon - cause soft and fluffy cotton flannel is REALLY wonderful stuff. OMG, I AM a lesbian.
We all knew that, DG.
I can't stand sleeping in flannel sheets. I get too hot.

This is a test, right? We're supposed to see just how many snarky comments we can make? I'm up to about 28 so far . . .
7 -5 in the fifth! No wonder he's beaming.
I'm a crisp, cool cotton sheet girl myself. But, I am not averse to something sleek in bedwear occasionally...

We have many-hundred thread count Egyptian cotton. OK, I lied - we're really ARE big ole queens.
Hep - did you get to see the match? It was, in the words of the Wickedites, AMAZING!
DG, I did see the match. Incredible.
Just when you thought Andre was running out of gas...
No TV yet...
I write to you now from my freshly arrived and just-made bed!

I loved when they would show Steffi. Who knew, back when she was the emotionless young lady from Germany and he was the loudbrat from Vegas, that bringing them together would allow both of them to blossom so beautifully? As I've said before, if those kids have ANY interest in tennis, NO ONE will beat them!
I loved the old commercial - for Nike, I think - with the tiny kid who can't even see over the net. His raquet is too big. His clothes are too big. But, he is hitting brilliant shots during a tennis lesson. The coach can't understand how this kid can be so brilliant. A car drives up. The car window rolls down and you see Andre and Steffi. Andre calls, 'Jaden, time to go." Cute commercial.
That's a great commercial right there.
