I did not like LITP. It bored me.
I saw it on PBS and thought it was beautiful and sweet. I'm not sure I'll catch the tour when it's here.
DD, you must catch the Bee tour when it is there in January!
Liotte,
How many times will you be seeing the ASU tour?
I will see it in Boston twice, and in Florida at least twice.
Glad you enjoyed the show, Harris!
i did
lord i nearly melted at the stage door
I'm thinking of taking a train to Philly for LITP because I miss the show so much!
I'll be taking the train to philly for a weekend in Nov to see a show!
L had teased me with taking a PLANE to Seattle to see Bee.
How was Wicked??
*notices how L avoided my statement*
Wicked was fun! I enjoyed it a lot more the second time around. Sho is fabulous! Totally brings you into the part. She does something weird when she sings with her ns and eees, kind'a nasaly thing. But she's so good it doens't matter. And Megan is a hoot! The cast was great. And the energy in the theater was so great.
Glad you enjoyed the show!!
And it may not have been a tease! Jan is still 4 months away!
yay!
Answer me this: do they EVER sing Defying Gravity all out? I mean, they do a beautiful job, but both times I've seen it, the 'climax' has been somewhat underwhelming. The flying is cool, but the singing not so much. I guess the reason Sho was so great is that she REALLY made you feel it and so the singing (or lack thereof) is totally excused.
Hey y'all!

I was in court in a small town - quaint courthouse and very pretty drive back to Chicago.
Sho used to really give Defying Gravity her all, haven't seen her since her last day in NYC. I liked her better at the beginning of her run than at the end.
Hey Shira and Brd!
L, are you planning to see Ana in NY? I am seriously considering it for my November visit.
Hey, everybody! I'm home sick today.
Sorry to hear you are home sick!!
I saw Ana a couple times in Chicago, so I had no plans to see her again here. Depends if I feel like doing the Wicked lotto someday.
I saw her in Chicago, too, and thought she was great, but it was early in the run and I am very curious to see her now.
What are you home sick with? Are you still coming to the city this weekend?
The reason I am home sick and not at work sick is that I want to be healthy this weekend! Of course, I'm coming. My daughter can't wait to see The Drowsy Chaperone. She thinks Aldolpho is the funniest character who has ever taken the stage!
