I have no idea what it said!
Ok...
Liked Heroes, slow start.
LOVED Studio 60. I'll have to download it next week.
I liked Studio 60 enough to watch it again next week.
Glad Desperate Housewives is back on!
I did not see it at all last season (DH) so I didn't try to watch it last night. I've got Lost on dvd, hoping to watch it before the season begins. But I don't even know when that is.
TV is too complicated. That's why I stick to Broadway shows most nights!
My question of the night: How could a show with Hunter Foster, Kaitlin Hopkins, Terrance Nunn, Karen Olivo, Fyvush Finkel and Kerry Butler be so awful?
he he he... that would be nice. I foresee my future being quiet for a while. I'm enjoying staying home and not doing much. And watching tv, actually.
What show was that, Miss P?
I see my future being insanely busy for the next couple of weeks.
Party Come Here (NYMF). You can still see it, Liotte. This was opening night. But my advice is DON'T!!!
starting tomorrow, my life will be nuts for two weeks. I needed today 'off.'
What show, Ms. P?
Are you still in NYC?
I will take your advice on that one, but also I don't have a free night until two weeks from tomorrow!
We had a similar experience with "Forum" a few years back. How can you possibly make it not funny, you ask? Ask the 5th Avenue to produce it.
Lio, it's playing a few afternoon performances, so that's not a good enough excuse. The one I gave you is better: it's BAD!
Hi, DD! Yes, I am still in NYC. We go home tomorrow late afternoon. We stayed an extra day just to see this show tonight, but now I'm just pissed off! AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!
I work in the afternoons anyway. Sorry your extra day in the city was not as good as you had hoped!
And DD, does that mean I shouldn't come see Bee in Seattle in January because even though it's a great show, it will be bad there? (I mean, look at Wedding Singer, not so good in Seattle and I LOVE it here)
Not at all! Remember... WS was in previews, they must've changed stuff before it got to NYC. "Forum" was locally produced/directed. "Bee" is a national tour, totally different story.
and Miss P, I guess the bad shows just help us appreciate the good ones even more, eh? I saw Bombay Dreams this weekend. Let's just say I'm glad I didn't pay for the ticket.
I know you're busy during the day, Liotte...my point was that even if the producers called and said, "Listen, Liotte, we want you to see this show so badly that we will stage it when and where it is convenient for you. Just say the word!" the word you use should be "NO!" (You may say, "No, thank you!" to be polite.)
OK, then I suppose I will still look into coming out there :)
he he he... that cracked me up, Miss P.
So L, any word from Grandma?
Oy, DD! BOMBay Dreams. Saw it in NYC with a friend who had seen it in Lonon and loved it there. She HATED the NY transfer production. She kept asking me :Why did they change it? Why did they change it?" Finally, I said, "Look, I don't know what they did or why they did it, but if you really want to know, why don't you go over there to Andre Lloyd Webber and ask him!" (He was in the house that night.)
With my husband's accompanying her, she approached and said, "Excuse Me, Mr. Lloyd Webber, but why did you change it so drastically?" And his reposnse was "Well, it's just so much better this way." Then he smiled.
I do love one song from it though.
Oh, Miss P. I'm now glad I didn't spend the money on Party Come Here.

Good morning, back from a court victory!
I better behave before I get deleted!
Beautiful day here - mild, clear and sunny.
Congrats on the court victory! How is C-13 behaving today?
Congrats Brd!
DD, no word from Grandma yet, I'll keep you posted.
I think I caught C10's cold. Hope she is feeling better in time to become C11 tomorrow!
