Hope all is ok, Miss P!
Brd, what can I do to get back in your good graces?

Sorry about the bad news, I hope things work out!
There are hugs and mojitos for you, Miss P.
Thanks, you guys. You're really sweet.
For me--and most people, probably--the hardest part of dealing with someone who is seriously ill is accepting that you really can't DO anything about it. You just have to show love and support in the best way possible, but that never seems to feel like "enough."
Where did bartender DD go?

I spoke to a man today that I saw in the ICU this Summer. At that time, I said said my good byes and yet he survived. I call him the miracle man! So, maybe things will work out for your loved one!
Brd is still ignoring me.
There is always hope. I still wish I could do more.
But we are going to visit in a few weeks, which is the best we can do, I think. (Another trip to Michigan.)
Sorry to hear, Ms. P.
I can understand. A very good friend was given a few months to live... in May 2005!!! He's defied all odds, is doing better off his meds, and is having a blast. We just enjoy the time we spend together, and don't give much thought to anything else.
Here you go, L...
Please keep us updated, Miss p!
I'd like to have one of those drinks...in my new "Drowsy Chaperone" martini glass!!!!
Did you get that at the Flea Market?
Oh ... how very cool. I'm collecting martini glasses.
Yes, I got it at the Flea Market! It comes with a little recipe for olive-less gibsons!!!
I also bought a "Toledo Surprise," which was one helluva good cookie!!! Now I wish I had bought more.
What kind of cookie was it?
And DD, if I had known you were collecting, I would have bought one for you!
It was sort of like two chocolate chip cookies with nuts held together with icing. I would have paid cloer attention, but, honestly, I ate it too quickly. So did Starina! (Little Sir doesn't like nuts, which is why I got to eat one at all!)
Yes, L... I started collecting them when I moved to my new place. I have a great shelf to put my glasses, and I want to display them.
Well kids... gotta go to rehearsal.
Have fun!
I'm glad DD is just "collecting" martini glasses and not actually "using" them (ahem).
You think he's not using them??? HAHAHAHAHA!!!
Is the martini glass your favorite 'find' at the Flea Market, Miss P?
They were cute, my favorite is still my Bee!
I do love the martini glass, but I do love martini glasses in general. I have a nice little collection myself...not that I actually "tried" to start one!
I also bought a Power Bar autographed by Bob Martin for Little Sir (whose only complaint at the show on Saturday night was, "I can't see Bob Martin's Power Bar!"
I didn't really buy a lot of stuff. Caldwell B. Cladwell got many librettos, one of those Marc Shaiman things, some books and a shirt from the wardrobe of a Broadway show because he really liked the shirt...but he didn't even ask which show it was from!
I got a lot of Bee stuff, was very disappointed there was no Wedding Singer table!
whats ya get me l =)
A cow from Rent that says Jump Over the Moon!!
