I saw the Grand Canyon yeserday, and well, it was quite grand. Huge. The colors are amazing. But oy, remind me not to walk among the non-paved trails with a camera in one hand - not the most agile thing to do.
On the train ride to the Grand Canyon we had a huge storm, with hail, and a threat of a distant tornado! Imagine that in June. Not typical weather at all. I was a soaking wet mess at parts of the walk/hike around the rim. Towards the end I said the hell with it and took the shuttle back.
Off to Sedona today, and then back home with my kitties by Sunday. Hopefully I can post some good pictures.

Hola mojitians!!!
Having an excellent time. Got back from the beach yesterday, and after over 3 years of not being in the sun, I got the biggest sunburn ever!!! And that was on Sunday. I´m so dark right now... love it!!!
Now we´re watching the opening game of the World Cup, Costa Rica vs Germany. Can you believe it´s actually a government holiday here today?

I am working this weekend. From tomorrow morning til Sunday at noon, I am spending the day/night with my kids while parents are out of town. Sunday afternoon is Yankees game, Bee Sunday night, Six Flags on Monday followed by the NEO2 concert that night.

It's supposed to be nice here this weekend, so I might take the 4 kids to Coney Island tomorrow afternoon.

I semi-sadly come back to NYC tomorrow.
I'm having major deja-vu. Last year, when I was in California, I would sit at this computer, printing envelope after envelope for my Mom.
Now, 1 year later, I am doing the same thing! (But for free :-/)
