And I secretly detest theatre.

C8 will tell you the truth! He is so saavy that we stop at the Walgreens and he buys some candy that does not make any noise during the show!
L, how was the Alter Boyz?
Harris, were in OK recently and saw many cows!
Where did Brd go? Avoiding us now?
Maybe he's making himself a martini.

Oh my, gin is only for the cocktail hour.
I think he prefers scotch? Or gin.
I put my "Drowsy Chaperone" martini glasses (from the flea market) away today and noticed for the first time a recipe for a very delicious-looking martini attached to each glass.

You saved yourself! DG is Scotch, I am gin.
Both of my parents drank scotch (on the rocks). Personally, I think it tastes like perfume.
I don't pay attention to what everyone drinks, that would be far too much work with this crowd!!
LOL! that was very amusing, L!
LOL. I just drink, period
I don't often anymore!!

L, very true! MP, I do not know your drink of choice.
I was in good voice at the funeral today, very nice service.
Oh yes, I forgot to ask how that went! Glad to hear that you sang well!
Sorry to hear about the funeral. brd, but it's nice that you were able to participate and offer your voice as a gift and a comfort.

Thanks to all, it really was nice. Sorry to change the tone!
MP, do your kids play instuments?
From a change in tone to a change in subject. Very smooth! Did anyone ever tell you that you should be a lawyer?
I hope those kids are better musicians than I. My music would never sooth a savage breast.
L. you are on a roll tonight!
brd, my husband is a musician and a composer, so you can bet the kids play instruments. But more than that, they sing and perform as though they're on the stage! Yesterday I overheard them reenacting complete scenes from The Drowsy Chaperone. That is their favorite show now!
How quickly can they say 'Adolpho?'
I saw Starina's "Adolpho", she was great!
In France this summer, Little Sir would announce, "I am Aldolpho!" just as he jumped into the pool with his green, neon goggles on. It was pretty funny.
GH! I thought of you tonight at dinner when the Broadway Showtunes channel played Donna Murphy singing "Swing"!
