The pooch (only one) is fine. He went to the park on Saturday and did a lot of swimming.

"Heat advisory in effect for the Puget Sound region from noon today to 8 PM pdt this evening." Lovely...

Dogs can dig for a variety of reasons. Main one is instinct, and that's an easy problem to fix. If it's a female, she might be nesting. If it's avoiding you overall, it might be sick and looking for a quiet place to make him/herself better.

I am having fun, but will be much better when it stops raining and we can go back to our normal schedule with sports and pool and outdoor activities!

It was a cool night here, I took C8 to a Cubs game. That team really sucks, but it was fun.
