I love Chicago. Trying to get tickets for Spamalot tomorrow night. Maybe we can stay a little longer and gettickets for Sunday? I will yell hussy throughout the lobby if I do.

It's a lovely place, very woodsy. I just killed a spider. I have the feeling I will be doing that a lot this summer.

I enjoyed Bee tremendously. I had some quibles with the cast. I can tell just from the snippets I have seen on tv that the NY cast is far superior ( especialy the men). Also.. the space is a little to nice. I am very familiar with Ciircle In The Square in NY as that was my assigned acting school under NYU. I am sure they made it into a much more believable gymnasium. I got my tickets at a half price discount through Chicagos Hot Tix. The house was only at about 60%.

HOORAY! I got a ticket for tomorrow evenings performance of Spamalot! Orchestra ,Row G, center. I was going to try for Sunday.. but brdwlyr is going and I think he is scared of me. I also don't think the Mrs knows he posts here and I wouldn't want to give him away.

I most certainly did. I jusr read your review of the Chicago company on the main board. It sounds like you had the same feelings I did with some of the cast. I have a question.. those the band sound as thin in NY?

It had no depth to the sound. Like if you put the treble way up in your stereo but added no base. Like if it was coming out o a am radio. Something tells me they might have had a problem tonight.

Yes, I went to the lake to go paddleboating, helped out at the rock climbing wall/tower, made a lanyard and birdhouse at arts and crafts, played basketball, and shmoozed with a ton of parents and campers. It's been a productive day!
