That sounds so nice, I am sitting at my usual spot in the kitchen and it is cold and there is snow on the ground, not in the distance.

I had the most stressful day of my semester today and I came home carrying the weight of ithe stress on my shoulders. I walk in the door and sitting on the table is a package from one of my friends who graduated last semester and is now living around Cincinatti. It was a container of brownies and a card to cheer me up. The package could not have come on at a more perfect time.

I remember those nice packages in school. One of our dear family friends would send me a $20 bill in a card every so often in the mid 80's. He passed away on Christmas Day.
