Being one of those "old" people who saw the original Bway production and listened to the OBC recording for 30+ years, I was not impressed by the current revival.

Long Playing (LP), 12-inch diameter, "33"rpm (actually 33¨÷) vinyl gramophone records, first introduced in 1948, were the primary release format for recorded music for about 30 years, from the late 1950s until CDs effectively replaced them in the late 1980s. The production at the Kennedy Center with John Barrowman was EXCELLENT. Sondheim said that he didn't understand what the show was actually about...until he saw that production.

I am quite drunk right now (if only you could see how many time I had to write that sentence!), but **** happened at the end of the night with family to ruin it all. Doesn't look like it will be such a relaxing vacation to Florida anymore....grrrrrr!

Well, Mo, you can ignore all the family drama by being DRUNK the entire time you're in Florida, too! (Except during WICKED< of course. Be sober for that...but start drinking at intermission!)
