The new phone...not sure. I started using it to record my appointments, and I'm liking that so far, but by next week when I have yours in hand, I will have a better sense of what I need. It does seem kind of "comlicated," and I'm really into simplifying these days. (Hence, my sig!)

Just back from "Thrill Me." Not as bad as I expected, but not a great show.

Dinner was a nice pecan crusted salmon.

A pineapple express has its path set on the NW. Warm weather and lots of rain. Hits us this afternoon and stays until Tuesday.Not fond of them.

When the jet stream comes from the tropics (Hawaii) it's called a Pineapple Express - at least that's what they call it here. They are especially bad on El Niño years.

Today - gym in a few, then meeting for freelance gig, then pick up Walter and back home and watch movies all afternoon. Party tonight. Nothing very exciting.

Car is in tip top shape. Will get the front fender replaced in the next couple of weeks.

What about you? Getting out to enjoy your hot weather?

We are going for a hike as soon as iris gets her tired ass out of bed. I already walked to the bank and the supermarket. I think we are staying in tonight because I actually have to work tomorrow. One of the game shows we handle is taping all day and it is my turn to be there. iris is going to enjoy a Sunday without me.

I went through old posts trying to track Liotte's traumatic experience with her Pocket PC and was reminded that

A) MojitoLand is miraculously transformed into "The Vortex" at night. (That's where we all go to "get hep, get hep.")

B) Liotte, apparently, has a history of getting pissed off at people for misspellings and typos.

B) LIOTTE had a BAD typo!!!! Instead of "happy," she wrote, "happU." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still need other people to weigh in on the Pocket PC.

LOL - sorry I am no help with the pocket pc. I still have a plain old cell phone that only texts. Ok, it takes pix too.

That sounds nice, DAME. I'm supposed to have softball practice tomorrow, but it will most likely be canceled due to rain. Not a weekend to be outside in the NW.

Ms. P - I think it's funny how the adults thread is active during the day, and the mojito thread comes to life at night.

MP; My boss got rid of the pocket pc after a week. But he does that. he will try products out and return them. I myself don't care for it. I also don't care for the Treo I have and wished I would have listened to those who told me to stick with the Blackberry.

As far as Liottes experiences.. ( and no dig intended) remember you are talking about someone that has seen "All Shook Up" and "Bee" trillions of times and put that into perspective. Again.. no dig was meant with that. Just a observation.

I had forgotten how the name "Vortex" came about but I was reminded last night. It was very amusing! It had to do primarily with Hep and Liotte's "cutting a rug," but Harris and I were also there. The Mojito thread was hysterically funny in October!
