I need to use my miles for LA in May, and for Hawaii either in Aug or Dec, or maybe for Australia in Dec (GH- Can I stay with you?).

I am using some miles for a few of the tickets for Denver this summer. Even with cheap tickets when you multply it by 5 it is expensive.

Just got back from NYC. Drowsy was SUPERB!

It's still sad that Bob's left though.

For me it serves all purposes other than phone calls in the car. The calender, e-mail functions are easy. It works for me. I have never had any other conected PDA. I assume that Liotte changed your mind.

Do you have a bluetooth head set, Brd? Wouldn't that solve the problem of the phone calls in the car?

It is the dialing function that is a broblem. With my old phone (now C11's) I could dial without even looking at the phone. I have blue tooth headset , but I usually use the old fashion wired ear bud.

Brd - I have been asked to speak on a panel about federal and state e-signature laws and the role they play in the financial services industry. One of my areas of focus is on e-commerce and e-signature issues and the legal and regulatory issues associated with implementation. (I actually find it interesting, how to you validate someone's signature so that it cannot be repudiated ... it is much more difficult when you are dealing with things that involve consents to medical and financial data, and MIB queries . . .).

So, if I attend the conference, I get 1/2 off the entire session, and participate in the 1-2 hour panel - and then get a chance to get to the East Coast on the company dime. I have been on a couple of panels before, and have been asked to do this again. Last time, it was in Tuscon, and I added a trip to the Grand Canyon and Sedona onto that trip.

And, it has been a lovely day here in SoCal!

Y, I just "signed" something the other day on-line and I thought it was weird. In my business I see that the standard for medical privacy is so varied. I can get records with a phone call and other times, subpoenas are necessary for a "yes or no" question.

One of the issue is what doctors will release based upon an electronic signature.

There are so many different variances.

We will not releae information without a signed consent or a subpoena.

Those releasing based upon a phone call without an authoriztion are asking for trouble!

Brd, my problem with the pocket pc is that it works erratically. I was able to go online this morning on the train up to NYC, but then it stopped working and wouldn't reconnect all day. It also seems extremely complicated.
