Hi all - I just returned from 4 days in Ohio helping out a sick relative. I am out of the loop since I have not been near a computer since Tuesday AM. My husband was supposed to drive to NY state today but did not go because of the storm forcast. Sounds pretty bad.

I am having what my last "alone" weekend in NYC for a while since I just started my new job. I told them in advance that there were certain days I had to have "off" because I already had plans, and this was one of those times!
But, boy, did I pick a weekend or what????

OK, I'm back. We went to Dunkin Donuts for Hot Chocolate and shopping at Target. The roads aren't TOO bad, a lot of people out actually. It's just getting pelted with ice that's the problem!
Scary thing is most of the bars/clubs in the area already had people arriving. I'm really worried to see those people driving home later.

When I turn it on, the screen is just white. Both the inside and outside screen. So I can't see anything, so I can't look up numbers or text (OMG!!!!). I can call my speed dials, which is my voicemail and my mom.
I called Verizon from my roommates phone and they just said to let it air out and it might start to work again, otherwise I have to go to the store tomorrow and have a techie look at it. And if they can't fix it, I have to buy a new phone.
