...the following obscure TV series
1. Mr Lucky
2. T.H.E. Cat
3. Tate
4. Klondike/Acapulco - Same cast switched series locale in mid
season.
5. Tales Of The Gold Monkey
6. Thriller
7. Wild Bill Hickcock
8. The Adventures of Fu Manchu
9. Mr & Mrs North
10.The People Choice
Wow not even one rang a bell here.
Fu Manchu is the only one of those I remember.
1.Tate was about a one armed gunslinger - I kid you not
2.Mr Lucky was a Peter Gunn clone based on movie of same name - Guy owned a floating casino
3. Mr & Mrs North was a Thin Man clone
4. Tales Of The Gold Monkey rode the Raiders Of The Lost Ark craze about a fortune hunter during WW 2 - Gold Monkey was the name of his plane.
5. Thriller was anthonlogy series like Twilight Zone hosted by Boris Karloff
6. The Peoples Choice starred Jackie Cooper & a dog named Cleo . He was, I believe , a politician
Cleo in The People's Choice was able to voice her thoughts out loud--similar to Mr. Ed.
well, I'm gonna be 43 in a little over a month, and I've never heard of a single show on that list. Perhaps because when I was a child I lived in Ohio - though what that would have to do with it I have no idea.

I've only heard of Tales of the Gold Monkey.
The main character was named Jake and he was played by Stephen Collins, who played Capt. Decker in Star Trek: The Motion Picture, and of course, Eric Camden on 7th Heaven.
Thanks redhot, I thought it was me being really out of the loop.
I feel much better now. (Must be the coffee is kicking in!)

Anyone remember "Captain Nice" and "Mr. Terrific" - two almost identical "nerdy super hero" shows that appeared simultaneously on different networks in the late 1960's?
William Daniels was Captain Nice - really an accountant named Carter Nash - he had "C.N." on his belt buckle - which was part of his super hero costume, so when someone asked what it stood for, he said, "uuuhhhh... Captain... Nice!" He had a girldriend named Candy Cane (obvious Lois Lane parody) played by Ann Prentiss.
I can't remembver the name of the guy who played Mr. Terrific, but Dick Gautier played his best friend. They worked at a gas station. The little nerdy guy would take a special pill which gave him super powers. After taking the pill, he would demonstrate his super strength by crushing the paper cup in his bare hand.
Both shows lasted only one season.
wellllllllllllll, hellooooooooo Mr. Roxy!!!!!
Jon,
I remember BOTH.
I thought they were both pretty abysmal.
One of them (I forget which) is in "100 Worst TV Shows" book.
