Who has interesting plans for the 4th?

I don't. I was in NYC last weekend, so anything I do this weekend will suck in comparison. I'm going to a couple of BBQ's and then to watch fireworks on Fort Lauderdale beach. What about you?

I have no plans this weekend different from any other weekend. July 4th doesn't do it for me any more. Maybe when we actually become the "Land of the Free" I might feel differently.

Nothing much... probably sitting around the house, eating, listening to my neighbors set off Piccolo Petes even though they've been banned here this year, eating, watching a lot of TV, and eating.

I was invited to a mini BBQ with my friend's family, which I LOVE! So we'll be swimming, BBQ-ing, and watching fireworks on the golf course near where they live.

I live in NY and have been invited to several parties, but I'm going to be flying to California. I go every summer and stay with family. I'm staying for a month. So no real celebration there, but on July 8th I'm going to Sondheim at the Hollywood Bowl. YAY!! So that can count as my July 4th celebration.

I'll be making brats at my apartment, then my sweetie and I will (illegally) climb to the roof of the library to get a good view of the fireworks.

Well, this July 4th the family is going to a friend's house, but now that someone mentioned Jersey City, I'm tempted to go camp out by the Liberty Science Center (Not re really.)

A few years ago, was up in Lake Placid for the 4th, and it was AWESOME. Our little apartment looked out over the lake, and the fireworks were amazing. It was the most fun I've ever had on a July 4th. Lol. Earlie rin the day a few kids from my barn and I were in this skrtchy little parade with all of the horse show kids. It was great. Aw, miss Lake Placid.
