I had planned to go, but soon kicked my idealist self in the arse (other things that interfere). Even if I could go, I'm feeling a bit ill and I probably wouldn't go (though I just got over the flu).
And I didn't even mention the time it takes to get down there...
I have, however, resolved to go next year.

Challenge yourself if you feel ill and it will turn out to be one of your best work days/performances ever. That's the gospel according to Carol Channing and she is 100% right!

I have to work at the evil hotel, a guest commented today that it reminded him of the Overlook Hotel in the Shining, and I said 'that sometimes it feels like it'

Tonight I heard gunshots, I think someone might have killed one of the bears! (we have about 6)

Posted: 9/23/06 at 11:05pmFor some reason I thought today was Sunday. I was so confused. I can't go because I have to go to piano lessons in the morning and then dance rehersals from 2-5. I miss the flea market every year, I was so bummed. Oh well..maybe next year.

I thought I was going. I'm driving into the city anyway to bring my little sister back to school and we're seeing [title of show] at five. Silly me, I thought we would go in a little early and walk around the flea market. Apparently my sister doesn't like that idea and therefore we aren't going. Hmmm . . . I'm the older sister. I'm driving her in. Yet I'm doing what she wants, as usual. How unfair is that? 
And of course if she reads this she'll be mad but its the truth!
