This poster has confused me for a long time. At the end of every post, he/she signs it, but many different ways...
Here is a sampling of the names/locations:
Mayella Ewell
Maycomb, Alabama
Jerusha Bromley
Walpole, Massachusetts
Tilde Kooeck
Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Vivian Darkbloom
Ramsdale, New England
Milt C. Okedoke
Okefenokee, Florida
I searched the poster, and I looked through about 5 threads, and that's what I came up with. In one thread, this same poster used THREE DIFFERENT NAMES.
Now I know there's no law against it, but it confuses me...
AND this poster is very eloquent, and has a vast knowledge of old musicals and flops...
M_E, anyone?

Posted: 11/3/05 at 6:49pmMayella Ewell is a character from "To Kill a Mockingbird." I would guess the other names are also fictional characters.

Thanks Therese.
This has been irritating me for months! That might give a logical explanation...

I sent a PM and got this cryptic response:
re: Dear TheEnchantedHunter from TheEnchantedHunter

I am many things to many people and I like to get around.
Unfortunately, it wasn't signed...

I have a clue!
Some of them are anagrams...
No clues as to which though...

Dear ParadoxError,
I'll put you out of your misery. The anagram for Vivian Darkbloom is Vladimir Nabokov, author of LOLITA. It's the name of a character in the book and an in-joke for the author.
Hope this allows you to sleep nights!

Posted: 11/3/05 at 7:07pmThe Enchanted Hunter is a hotel in Lolita. Vivian Darkbloom is a character in that novel, as well as an anagram for its author, Vladimir Nabokov. Jerusha Bromley is a character in Hawaii by James Michener--she was played by Julie Andrews in the film. Don't know who Tilde Kooeck or Milt C Okedoke are, but the names are anagrams of each other. That's all I can figure out.
