DD, in this house we have three working computers, so fly to Chi for the weekend.
oooo... I've never had bug hugs before...
I'm on my way, brd.
It's ok, I ordered in an omelette.
I just got a ticket to Bernarda Alba for Thursday night. I'm nervous that it will take the same path as Sweeney...
Hm... I doubt you will like it. It's not as grim as Sweeney, but it's not lighthearted at all.
I am so jealous, it's one of my favorite plays... though I've never seen it in English. I've seen two different dance interpretations... one was done entirely to Ravel's Bolero. It was beautiful.
Yeah, I kinda thought that too. But I have to go see my Nikki from ASU.

I read it in college for World Drama, but do not really recall it.
It is a fantastic play, and from the sounds of it, a very good production. I once saw a very 'sparce' production, and it was very effective. I'd love to see Phylicia (sp) Rashad as Bernarda.
Yeah, I don't think I know anything about this show except it is dark.
hmmmmmm, whats ya watching now L
geeeez way to answer that one, i think that was 30 sec lag, lol i have on walk the line
I will never watch that movie. After Ring of Fire the other night, I will not be spending any time with Johnny Cash anything.
Liotte, unfair! I want tickets to Bernarda Alba!
Oy, I just saw the info for the Rent lotto on April 24th. That will be madness!

Is that the tenth anniversary?

I am sure after all these years, you have a little pull???
Nope. Tickets START at $1000 for that show, I can't afford that. So I'll have to win the lotto. I wonder if they will do SRO though...

I assume there is a charity involved with the 1K tickets?
It's on the main board.
