I am now going to some ABC Daytime BCEFA tomorrow night, hosted by Barbara Walters and appearances by people on tv shows I have never seen (i.e. soap operas). I hope they actually sing broadway songs.

This is what BCEFA says:
Cast members from ABC’s top-rated daytime dramas, All My Children, One Life to Live and General Hospital come together to salute Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. From our first days in the late 1980’s, the Daytime community has joined BC/EFA in its fundraising efforts on behalf of people with AIDS and their families with extraordinary enthusiasm and generosity. “The stars of daytime have been special champions - not to mention that a good many “moonlight” nights on Broadway.”
Among the cavalcade of stars confirmed to join Ms. Lucci on stage include; Bobbie Eakes, Kelli Giddish, Jill Larson, Cady McClain, Alicia Minshew, Sydney Penny, Tonya Pinkins, Aiden Turner, Walt Willey and Jacob Young from “All My Children;” Kristen Alderson, Kathy Brier, Kassie Depaiva Renee Elise Goldsberry, Catherine Hickland, Matt Metzger and Trevor St. John and from “One Life to Live,” and Kelly Monaco and Scott Clifton from “General Hospital.”
Television icon, Barbara Walters, creator/executive producer and co-host of “The View,” will open the evening with a tribute to BC/EFA.
Meredith Vieira, Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck from “The View” will also take part in the evening’s festivities .

I know NOTHING about soaps, but I ended up at Disney one day when they were having a parade of them, and my jaw dropped looking at some of them!

I wish Michael E. Knight would do some of these appearances. His wife is going, he should too!! I so wanted to say something to her at the Standing Ovations 4 party about him showing up to some of these things, but I kept my mouth shut and just smiled sweetly when I excused myself to get past her.

Night, brd.
liotte's question just reminded me of a line from THE BOYS IN THE BAND: "Who is she? Who was she? Who does she hope to be?"
He's Tad on All My Children and she's Catherine Hickland. I don't remember who she plays on One Life. I only watch AMC and General Hospital.

DD - may the rain wash all your tears away, and leave nothing but rainbows behind.

We have plenty of rain for that, DG. Thanks!
Sorry about the loss DD, but 2nd place isn't horrible....
I still don't know who those AMC people are, oh well.
Well, L... like they said today, everyone remembers the winner of the Super Bowl. No one remembers who they played.
Very true. But think of it this way- with the superbowl over, that means baseball season is only a short way away!
Baseball season? When does THAT begin?
Baseball season cannot start soon enough! With this nice weather we have been having, it could start now and I'd be happy!
Yay, uh, boys in tight pants!
