Posted: 2/18/06 at 1:23pmIt was excellent. She's an amazing performer. And she's 80-f#ck!ing years old! My favorite moment was when she recalled her beginnings in Paris, and her first gig was being a background person for Edith Piaff. She then proceeded to sing "Ma Vie en Rose" and I had chills all over my body. AMAZING!

left VM for DD
went to quickest tech EVER
got VM from DD
had most stressfree dress rehearsal EVER
DD's at the cinema... went to work to use printers
Softball practice for me in the morning...
I have to plan it, my actor friend and hardnosed softball coach (same dude) was to give me practice agenda... but he's SO blond and did not.
hang out with DD later? Well, perhaps... it's due :)

When you get a chance I would appreciate a review of Eartha Kit. There is a friend who loves her and she is going to be playing near where he lives in San Francisco.. and if she is stil a solid diva jazz act then I would love to get him and us tickets.
