Thanks girly.
One of the nice things about WA state is that we have no state tax. Though we have a high sales tax.
Higher than our sales tax?
It's like 8.6%, I think it's higher for restaurant eating and hotels and rental cars are like 18% or something stupid like that.
That is pretty high, I actually have no idea what our sales tax here is. I don't shop that much.
We have both income tax and sales tax and I pay pay property taxes on my condo.
Ugghh. I owe the Freaking state of California more than I owe the federal government.
I think its 8.5%, Liotte.
YWIW, where in CA are you?
I'm watching "Homeward Bound". So good.
I'm trying to decide if I want to get out of pajamas and go outside today.
Nah. I vote pajamas.
get out of those pj's ya bum =P
Oops - did not see the question.
I live in the Los Angeles area - born and raised!
(There are about 4 of us natives left).
Ah, Los Angeles. Home Sweet F***ing Home. (No offense. I miss it. But right now, I despise two people who live there).
Just two? There are plenty more to despise here. There are things I love about LA, and things I hate. Some of the people are pretty damn obnoxious. Almost makes you want to key their leased cars just because . . . not that I ever would.
I just want my puppy. And some other people who I actually like. But I miss driving in LA.
My cats always can have remote godparents - if that helps. They have been claimed by many a godparent who misses their pets.

You miss driving in LA? Ugh! I'd so anything to live somewhere I don't have to drive.
I can't help it, I like the car and driving. I hate traffic, but I love driving.
DD is so wise.
Luckily, I live in a part of Los Angeles County where I can avoid the freeway to get to work if I have to. My commute is about 1/2 hour. Which, to get 11 miles in LA, is considered a breeze.
But, sometimes the 405 oy!
You are so sweet, moony.
I think I'm going to start taking the bus when I move to Seattle. It'll take about 45 minutes, but the building pays for my bus pass as long as I take the bus 3 days a week. Driving it'll be about 35 minutes.
Walter needs a bus pass...
Actually he gets to ride for free in Seattle buses.
I like driving as well, I miss it.
I lived in West Hollywood for a few years, I didn't like it there though.
