Can I just say WOW. L5Y was AMAZING tonight. This was definitely the best of the three casts, and I'm glad it was the last one I saw. They totally blew me away.
Of course there was drinkage afterwards.
Hm... I wonder how DAME's party is going and if Albert found his hubby.

2:19 am and the last guest just left. I am worn out. My home is worn out. But a fabulous time was had by all and the cops didn't even bother coming by this time. They just called. Goodnight. ( oh.. and Alberto did not go home alone).

Hi Hussys!
I am so jealous Liotte and Shira are both going to the Liza sponsored Katrina benefit. That is one of those 'only in NY' events.
Our party was great. We counted this morning.. I think we had a total of 67 people show up. I originaly only invited 45. We did get a phone call from the cops. They were very nice and just asked us to lower the base in the music ( this was at 12:15 am).
He got some nice gifts which I look forward to opening as soon as his majesty wakes up.
How is everyone today?

'morning DAME *air kiss*
Today is a 'down' day for me; rough week, so taking a day to decompress. Will end up doing some freelance work at some point. Probably take Walter Bondi to the dog park too.

Upon reporting my experience to my roomate, she said "Shira, I hate to break this to you -- you're not a straight woman". Ugh, I know!
Seeing Liza perform "New York, New York" was simply orgasmic for me.
Julia Murney sang something like "The Things That Float", Idina Menzel sang "I'll Cover You" with a cool rendition. Hairspray sang "I Know Where I've Been", Mamma Mia sang something whcih sounded terrible!
The show opened with Conviction of the Heart, whcih was awesome. Megan Hilty sang "Alto's Lament", and she was realy fantastic. Shoshana Bean did her "Cornet Man" in her "I'm a jazz riffer" voice, which pisses me off, regardless of her talent.
Spelling Bee did this funny skit on Bush's reaction the Hurricane, All Shook Up sang...well, I'll let Liotte write about that! Avenue Q sang "For Now".
Bebe Neuwirth sang "And The World Goes 'Round" Shul Hensler sang "You'll Never Walk Alone"
Broadway Inspirational Voices sang a BEAUTIFUL song about Angels. Light In the Piazza, no matter how much I ADORE THEM, sounded awful, and someone was way flat.
Ben Vereen sang "Corner of the Sky" and "Magic To Do". Adriane Lenox sang some song which inculded the word Jesus.
Uh...this is all I remember right now. The rest will come to me in spurts.
Rent sang "Seasons of Love" which didn't sound good.
I'm EXHAUSTED. And will now proceed to write a paper!

That sounds so amazing.
Nice quiet day in which I did nothing, and now I feel like Shira and have to get some stuff done for my freelance work. Oy! It's gonna be a late night. But I'm glad my day was quiet nevertheless.
