I think I'm going to cry...
I just learned, that my hard drive, which includes AT LEAST 200 showtunes and audios, not to mention most of my pictures that I've taken, is officially broken. The data can be recovered, but it will cost around $1000. Yes, 3 "0"s.
*Waaah*

Posted: 9/26/05 at 7:46pmI'm just so angry...I'm on hold with LaCie, who made the drive, to see if they'd like to take ANY responsibility.

I'm sorry Shira, that sucks!
DD- I looked that website for cameras, though it gave me some good ones, I'm still a little lost... I think I'll go to circuit city and let them try to explain it to me. Thanks for your help though! I know more now than I did before!

Posted: 9/26/05 at 8:51pmFortunately, my friend has almost ALL my files that I've lost, so that makes me feel a bit better. But still...I'll never really be able to get it all again.

Well, I found a place that will do it for $400. But I still can't do it for that. Oy.

Posted: 9/27/05 at 12:27pmOh no, you don't understand. I changed computers, so I copied my entire font library to a 'shared folder' on the network. I haven't needed anything other than what we 'usually' get, so I haven't looked for them. Just went to look for them, and it's gone.

I back up my documents at the office, but not at home, better get working on that. There are cheap on-line backup sites where you store it off line.
Yesterday, I was home towned and ganged up on by my legal opponents and I held my own, my client if very happy.
Back to office work today.
