Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

"You know.. with the cost of a broadway ticket a lot of people can pay their heat and power bills. So I always wonder when people that are working hard to make a living go see shows over and over and over. I wonder because when I was young I did that and it was stupid. It also ruined the memory of a lot of these shows for me."
DAME. I'm somewhat offended and bothered by your statement (and BS on the not referring to anyone thing).
Yes, I see shows repeatedly. Yes I work hard and yes I spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on shows that I have seen before. It's something that I enjoy, it's my money that I earn myself, I give plenty of money to charity and do volunteer work(and even donate blood too), so while I don't go up to random people and offer to pay their bills, I try to help out less fortunate. I know I am very lucky to be able to see so much theater, and I know that yes I should be saving my money for a 401K or whatever retirement fund I'll need when I'm your age (ok that was mean but I'm mad), but I'm enjoying my life and who are you to hark on me about what I do?????

Oh Liotte. I didn't mean to insult you. really. It was late and I was just looking for conversation. My apologies.
And you know.. who is to say that if I wasn't living in NY I wouldn't be doing the exact same thing.

Ok, but in the future can we not try to start conversations using me and my theater obsession as a target?
Moving on.
How come you are up so early today?

Sounds fun?
I met her at one of my kids' bar mitzvah last year, she knows his parents or something.
I was woken up today by a contractor who was supposed to have done work in my apartment in July. He's a few months late. And now his work order is to paint the bathroom. That is not what I asked to have done. And he doesn't speak english and my spanish isn't great, so I had to talk to some other guy on the phone to tell him what I needed done and now I have no idea what's going on- the first guy left (but left his stuff here) and I think he's coming back with the guy from the phone, but when I don't know.
Someone in the courtyard behind my apartment is blasting Kelly Clarkson and it is echoing off all the buildings.
I am not in a good mood today. But DAME, you'll be happy to know that I am seeing Trailer Park musical tonight, which I have never seen.

I am young, I HAVE HIPS, and I live in NYC.
I don't care to consider myself 'hip' though!
Hey, at least I'm sitting now. For the next 15 minutes, anyhow.
