Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

Posted: 10/7/05 at 1:21amOy, just got a new ipod in the mail and I have the feeling it is a restored or refurbished or whatever it's called. It's giving me so many issues trying to put all my songs back on it. Who knew that transferring 2000 songs could take this long??? (and only about half are cast recordings)

OK - so after going back and checking my recent posts in this and other threads, I finally figured out what the HELL you were talking about!
Thanks, liotte - and it IS corrected.

Hi kids... as usual mojitians are gone by the time I get home. What'cha gonna do.
Tiff is SO much fun. Loved loved loved her. And she got the cab on time, and I know she made it to the airport ok. So she's almost on your hands now...
Show went well tonight. Our lead blanked on the last song... a little uncomfortable for a bit, but she managed to get through it. I don't think the audience could tell.

Yay! You're still here. I just finished getting teary eyed in the 'love' thread.

I'm drinking scotch - because it IS alcohol.
Unfortunately, it's not dulling my anger, frustration and pain over the situation with my sister. I just wish I could hold her right now. I know it wouldn't take away what she must experience, but I do think it might help just a little - for both of us.

Posted: 10/7/05 at 2:39amSweet man, is there any way you can go there and be with her? Holding her might be just what she and you need right now.

Posted: 10/7/05 at 2:45amHonestly, the only reason I haven't is because my mother and brother ARE there. I really think the one she needs right now is her mommy. I've let her know that all she has to do is say the word and I'll be there - immediately. The way things are going, I expect to be heading up there sooner than later, unfortunately.

Posted: 10/7/05 at 2:49amBUT, there's also you to think about. At a time like this, you also need to be with your family. I understand because my family is close too, and in a time like this, we'd all want to be together if at all possible.

Interestingly, we've got an old friend of mine coming for a quick visit for the weekend. That scheduling has been in the back of my mind, as well as the fact that this friend actually knows my sister, and shares a bit of the same kind of history. Obviously, if the need arises, I'll be out of here in a flash. But, I didn't want to deny this friend her time of escape, which is really what her visit boils down to.
I trust that my sister will let me know if she needs ME.
But thank you for the personal concern - it is greatly appreciated
