Ok... I hate to admit it but I'm not that familiar with Ms. Baez. I mean I do know who she is, just not familiar with her music.

Posted: 10/12/05 at 10:18pmDD, I don't know how you stand living in Seattle. The weather there all the time is like it is now in NYC and it's just awful. I'd get so depressed!

You get used to it. Plus, it doesn't RAIN as much as you'd think. NYC actually gets more rain.
It's just overcast and dark. On the plus side, in the summer we don't have the scorching heat you all elsewhere.

Posted: 10/12/05 at 10:27pmI know it's not that much rain, it's just all the dark and dreariness. I'd hate it. Must be a huge change for you from CR!

Posted: 10/12/05 at 10:29pmActually, Liotte, I grew up in San Jose. The weather is very different there than in the coast. It's actually usually overcast, rainy, and chilly. And our days never get as long as they do in the US... we're too close to the equator. It's usually dark by 6.

Posted: 10/12/05 at 11:26pmHm... one of those shows that I'm not THAT familiar with. I've seen it on tv before, and I'm seeing it this winter at the 5th. But not familiar with the music...

The board was really quiet this eve...
Well, had a great evening. Went out with my bff, drank a bit too much, had to sober up, have a phone number in my pocket.

Hiya DAME!
bff = best friend forever
My friend is a singer/actor/comedienne, and she has a very funny song in her CD called "I Hate The Rain"; all about living in Seattle. It's quite funny. I'll make sure to bring it with me in December.
