I am absolutely certain that Liotte and Shira should be locked in a room together with a DVD player and a feeding tube until they CATCH UP

I had a feeling someone would be thinking that...
But we would just get piss drunk and forget the movies anyway!

Actually, the fun of TRHPS is that you are required to be drunk or at the very least "of the DAME".

Well, you all find out when it's playing, and shira and I will come drunk/high and you all can initiate us!

SOMMS - 'of the DAME' - I LOVE it! And I'm sure he will, too!
I'm very happy - the Geffen Playhouse is about to re-open in their newly renovated theatre with CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF with John Goodman and Brenda Fricker as Big Daddy and Mama - and I just got our tickets

I am certain that it has been 20 years since I saw RHPS at a threater - much fun.

A long time ago in a galxy far, far awy, I used to do Frankenfurter in the floor show. Owing to influences frequently discussed in this thread, I really don't remember much about it - but I know it was fun

Maybe DG and DAME can alternate on Frank...
I've only seen RHPS once at a movie theater and a couple of times live. Neither time it was as lively as I'd expected.

HAHAHA! I have moved WELL into the Narrator territory! And I can't imagine the midnight showings having even a fraction of the energy that they did . . . well, many years ago

I'm sure if you get a lively enough group the magic could get close, though.

Hey Dame - I loved Purlie - I do want to compose a short review but have nonsense work today. My wife also loved it. The girls especially C10 thoroughly enjoyed it and C7 almost was murdered by his father at intermission and is suspended from the theatre for the short term. Howver, he bounced back for Act II and was clapping enthusiastically. We had a nice backstage tour, but did not meet the cast.

I am glad you enjoyed it. You think it could be broadway bound? And just out of curiosity.. what did C7 do?

It should be Broadway bound. It might go to Texas and they are looking for Broadway producers.
He announced that he was not returning to his seat for Act II because the singing was too loud. He also decided that he needed something to drink as the lights were flashing. I have taken him to about a dozen shows in the last year including Of Thee I Sing and Les Miz. His behaviour was perfect until yesterday.
I negotiated a return because you cannot take a crying kid into the theatre. By the time he was calm - the lights were up. A nice usher put us in a private box as to not annoy patrons watching the show. He was thrilled to be in the box.
C10 and C12 thoght that we missed the entire Act II and were worried about his safety.

Well.. it is the risk one takes taking kids to theater. You handled it beautifullly.
