Posted: 10/25/05 at 11:05amAhh! I was all set to go to the gym since the bloomingdales thing wasn't going to happen, and I get a phone call from work asking me to come in as soon as I can because C3a is still home sick.

Sorry L...
Hi kids... quick stop while I eat breakfast... busy busy day today.
SOMMS is in his early 40's? Who would'a thunk it...
And Shira, don't worry about how you'll look but more how you feel. I pull out my leather jacket when I'm ready... which was today.
And I must say I'm rather amused at you all whining about the rain.

DD- I'm sure you look hot, but I don't think there is ever a time to pull out a leather jacket :)

re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)#5933
Posted: 10/25/05 at 11:22amNot quite deja vu- yesterday I was awaken with a phone call from work. Today I got up for the rent windows, and when I checked my email, had a message waiting. Same thing though. I'll bring a couple of my movies over today, as I think we watched all of theirs yesterday.

Posted: 10/25/05 at 11:25amLiotte, does the mom have a high powered job? Just wondering why she can't watch her child until it's time for you to be there.

I take it you don't approve of leather jackets?
I love mine, have had it for, geez, 15 years this Christmas. Maybe it is time to retire it. Maybe.

The mom is a therapist, though I have yet to see her go to work with any clients. I have no idea what she does all day- hair, nails, shopping, that kind of thing. And even when she is home, I put the kids to sleep every night, give them baths, etc. Typical NYC wealthy family.
I could use starbucks right now... maybe I'll stop on my way to work. Yum.

You're going with me to buy me a new pair of chaps, right, SOMMS?
That is so sad, L. Not that you're not a great nanny, but it's almost like the parents can't be bothered.

DAME, yes, date is tonight. And I'm nervous. I haven't been nervous about a date in SO long. Is that a good sign? The strange thing is, I have never dated anyone younger than me, at least no more than a couple of years, and he's 10 years younger.
Back home, your entire family is involved raising you. On my mom's side of the family, they all live within 3 miles of each other; her sisters and brother, and their kids, and their kids, and yes, their kids. Of that side of the family, only my sister and I don't live nearby... hell, we don't even live in the same country.
