I did some pre-NYC shopping today.
Liotte... I don't know if you read my previous post about yesterday (it got lost with the attention queen's - ahem, Shira's - coming out.) It was amazing. Not a cloud in the sky, we could see for miles and miles. Mount Rainier is like "right there", took some excellent pix. We could see Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams and Mt. Baker. And I skied through trees. Had a total face plant, but got through. I thought of you as I was going through the trees.

DD, that sounds so awesome, I'm so proud you went through the trees! Sorry about the face plant though. I haven't done one of those in about 6 years...
I have no idea when I can go skiing next, hopefully in Feb I can get out to CO with some friends and go.

Posted: 11/20/05 at 8:38pmI think Addy and Liotte need to fly to the NW together and we can all go skiing. There are great day-resorts 1 1/2 hours away... or we could go to Whistler. Whistler was named best resort in North America...

DD, I would LOVE to!

Whistler is just 1 1/2 hours from Vancouver. About a 5 hour drive from Seattle, depending on the border.
Oh Addy, don't tempt me. I'll begin planning... I have several connections that I could possibly get a good deal on a cabin. Especially in January (that's the 'low' season)

Oh, I love hitting the slopes!
The last time I was in Aspen we totally skied the trees... Nothing better!
