Gloating doesn't become you.
It looks like the snow is starting to stick.
And lots and lots of snow in the passes (ski areas.)

PS ... in saying we have EVERYTHING -- considering the current state of Broadway right now? I'm not really saying much at all

he he
Actually, there's a lot of theater in this area. Most of it is semi-professional or community, though. So some of it is good, and some of it not so much. Plus we have a lot of stagings of the good 'ole standards.

re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)#9104
Posted: 12/1/05 at 4:56pmI have actually sat through what must be the worst evening of theater ever. Local show. It was so bad, we were going to leave at intermission. But our friend that was in the show came out and saw us, and was all 'I'm in the second act! So glad you could make it!' So we had to stay. It was torture. TORTURE I tell you!

see, my problem is, i'm an honest critic. usually tactful, but when it comes to theatre, not so much. even with friends. so with bad theatre? i cannot hold back.
i'm known as "mr. brantley" at the performing arts high school from which i graduated.

I'm the opposite. I try to find something good in what I see. So for me to say how bad this show was, it truly means something.

brd - just so you know, I know that particular subject we stumbled into on the other thread is fraught with danger, which is why I decided to just end it where it was. But I really do accept, respect and acknowledge that you have your personal experience which leads you to your own particular perspective, I just didn't want to continue in that vein on that thread.
However, if it's something you're curious about my perspective on, feel free to pm me.

DG - I agree and I probably should not have made that comment there. Nothing personal of course.
Happy Friday - it is freaking cold here today! These tween girls will not get out of bed in the morning - it is so annoying. We host a party for clients in the late afternoon and then tonight a lawyer bash that is somewhat fun. (Sorry L).
