Dame, I am trying to squeeze out a year-end partnership distribution, so not extra bonus for the staff.

I would also like a bonus check!

I would consider a week at the beach a "bonus".

We get our bonuses tomorrow, and they're apparently quite generous. Unfortunately, we're getting 'live' checks, not direct deposit, so I won't get mine until I get back on the 4th.

JoJO - are you OTA?

Nice weather here! Firm party today and the family is coming down.

C7 is here with me at the office, I will put him to work. Maybe he can fire some of my ridiculous staff. re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel) Updated On: 12/23/05 at 07:17 AM

Hey all, quick pop in.

Went shopping yesterday.

I looked like everyone else, hands laden with shopping bags, involving a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo pumps. Whoops? The credit card just....slipped.

I am and I love it. Who knows if he works tonight or not. I might just talk to him and not tell him it is me. re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

Jerby meeting DAME - I'd want to be there for that one.

Trip was uneventful - didn't get to sleep much on the way here, baby crying behind me most of the trip. Oh well. About to go to bed now.

Wicked tomorrow!!!

Long day, firm party where I am the host. We watched Guffman in the kitchen while making mince pies and rum butter. I trimmed the tenderloin for tomorrow night. Looks excellent.

We will have seven adults and 8 children. It should be nice. C7 and I sing at 4:30 and the guests will arrive at 6:00. We have nice bubbly and wine.

Give some ideas for dinner...

Tenderloin with...

Turkey is out because her hubby doesn't eat it.

Hm, maybe I'll suggest we make lasagne.

That would be the lasagne. My aunt always roasted a pork leg. It was a family affair... my mom not so much a 'fancy meal' kind'a cook.

My mother does not even do Christmas dinner, she has brunch. My mother in law has the best Christmas and she taught us well.
