re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

I am in the city, hanging at Starbucks in the village, because I might fall asleep if I see a movie or something.

I'm EXHAUSTED, but have nowhere to sleep!

re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

No! I called 6 places and none of them were open for weekend lunch. re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel) I suggested we go to Pastis instead. It was voted best French bistro, but I didn't find it particularly outstanding. Which just means DD will have to come back on a weekday so I can take him out to Tojo's! (And redeem my title of Vancouver foodie queen! re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel))

DD was doing great, but the boyfriend was sick, poor thing. I hope he wasn't bored out of our skull while DD and I were comparing notes on everyone here!

*cries* - See you later, if I am in the office on a Sunday, I should rid myself of distractions.

Had Taco Bell for dinner. LG had pad thai.

Off to bed, good night all!

Maybe checking out an apartment tomorrow.

Lots of activity while I was gone...

Tiff, I thought Pastis was good. But ok... but we'll definitely be back soon.

Did you see Picasso? Urinetown? I just remembered skiing isn't until the end of the month, right? The boyf's must've been so confused when I was making reference to it being today!

Picasso was interesting. Steve really liked it... I was a bit tired and it was crowded, which makes me quite uncomfortable, so prolly not the best person to ask.

We didn't make it to Urinetown. We wound up going to dinner to that Greek restaurant (the name escapes me), we only had to wait 25 minutes for a table. Excellent food! I had the lamb road. YUM!

Is it mostly paintings or sketches? We made plans to see it on Sunday, which is the last day, and I don't want to be battling the last-minute crowds for nothing. I'd rather see paintings. The second floor is a bit out-there, isn't it?

Wow, 25 minutes for Stepho's on a Saturday is great! What did Steve have? They're supposed to be famous for their souvlaki and mussels. I've had both and found the mussels especially delish, aside from the food poisoning thing.
