I started skiing when I was 4 at Mammouth Mountain, and then I lived in Colorado for 8 years and was in a ski club every weekend during the winter. So lots of skiing, so fun. I might go during Feb break here in NYC with my kids.
I think you should try to talk the family into taking a ski vacation at Whistler. Very kid friendly, you know.
Yeah, we'll see about that one...
You wouldn't know it to look at me now, but I used to be a competetive figure skater DD..
Wow. I always wanted to do that. It's a problem when you have no ice skating rinks, though.
Cammy... there are 3 day-ski areas within 2 hours of Seattle.
Cammy, post pictures of you in a little ice dancing tutu!
I would have to go pull out the pictures and scan them.. some of them are pretty entertaining..

Oh cammy, we want to be entertained.
"let me, entertain you..."
Oh I'm sure you do.. somewhere there are even pictures of me with my precision team and we were dressed in HOT PINK.. **gags**
oh you MUST find that one. You just must.
Those costumes were horrible.. We skated to "le Jazz hot" and we wore Hot Pink with these huge puffy sleeves, and our hair braided and tucked under a black glittery hat with a pink puff on it.. It was just BAD!!!!!
Please please please
Go find the pix...
PLEEEEEZE?
**looks at DD like he's insane**
I'm at work.. **said in THAT tone**
Don't use that tone with me, missy...
Well what tone did you expect me to use??
Any tone, just not that one.
sure!! No problem, I'll pull them out of my magic purse!
**sticks out tongue**
Was that attitude cammy just threw at me?
close Liotte, take away the skirt, put the braids into one braid and a bun, then put giant puffy sleeves on it and a hat and you're about there.. ETA: (Oh and multiply it by 24)
Gee DD, was it?? I can't imagine.. I never have attitude..

DG, former child skating stars are known to have attitude. It's the price they pay for.......precision and pink puffs.
*ahem moony*
cammy sans attitude cammy would not be
Moony, you try being on the ice every morning by 4, got to school straight from there. Go home do homework and eat then go back to the rink.. It was hard work..
