re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

My new years resolution was to take good care of myself this year and put myself first. I have a very hard time doing that. I am trying to start a gamenight.. where friends come over every other week and play some kind of board game. But everyone says they would love to do it and when push comes to shove.. you can never get anyone to agree on the same night.

that's a great resolution.. I never make em because I always break them.. What are you doing to lose the weight? Game night is fun, we used to do that. But now everyone is too busy.

I am not dieting. I have returned to the gym and stopped eating after 7 pm. I am drinking lots of water and I am not allowing any kind of breads, cookies, carbs and junk in my house. Diets do not ever work..at least for me. It is all astate of mind.

Good for you Dame. I cannot imagine that the Bit O Honey that I just consumed fit in my New Year's Diet.

We have a busy weekend. On our college friends is over tonight. The girls are anxious about High School Musical on the Disney Channel.

Apples to Apples is my new favorite game. We brought it to Costa Rica with us, and the whole family (all 10 of us) played. So much fun!

I won the game when my little sister picked a green card that said "Wicked", and though it did not fit any of the definitions on that card, I put down "Broadway" and won. She is a bigger shizhead than me.

*joins in late*

DAME, that's awesome. Congratulations! I have set my birthday as the day I stop smoking, start back at the gym, etc.

We have a regular game night group... there are like 25 of us, though usually only 4 or 5 show up on a specific night. I go occassionally, but have a blast when I go. It's every other Monday. Just set a day, set a regular e-vite, and do it. If you have it, they will come.

I think it is a wise choice to send the wife and the girls to the show. It is lovely. But .. not for a little boy.
