Back to work... lots of work today, so not sure how much I'll be here.
*hugs everyone*
Off to enjoy my lst day in chicago. Going to Potbellys again for lunch and then to Eddie Bauer ( I bought a shirth there last week and they did not remove the security plastic thing). Then we are off to the Franklin lloyd tour and to some ferris wheel.
The Ferris Wheel at Navy Pier, Ma Hussy? Enjoy!
DAME, sounds like fun!
Just got back from Hebrew -- looks to be a good refresher course, and I was surprised at how much I remember and was able to speak.
Modern Jewish History looks to be a challenge in how much I can memorize. But hey, maybe it'll get more interesting. I mean, it sounds interesting, but with a TON of information and work attached to it.
Taking a break and eating cold chinese before I study Jewish texts and Greek vases.

And when the Ferris Wheel reaches its pinacle - DAME will be high for the first time in Chicago.

brd - RIGHT! - and when it reaches the bottom will be the first time he's gone down, too.
College is hard...
So, intro to Rabbinic Text? BORING! Ugh!
Greek Art? I've never heard SUCH a think Italian accent before. I swear, I understood maybe 10% of that course. But, hopefully I'll get used to it!
Now I'm here. A bit crabby and tired. And I'm not too enthusiastic about my homework load.
Guys, this college stuff is worth it, RIGHT?

Shira, my simple answer is yes.
*whistles*
Yeah!

Thanks guys. I'm going to conjugate my verbs now.
I'm actually jealous 'cause I wish I HAD gone to college at your age and dealt with all of that then. Instead I went to trade school at 30, 12 credits (3 classes/3.5 hours each once a week) while working a full time job. Now THAT was fun.

I wish I could go back to college.
I'll do it later.. I'm gonna run to the stationary store instead!
Life was so simple back then.
Now, what color pens is the REAL question!
Oh dear God!
You're talking to the man who pretty much has disposable black bics.

I am picky about my pens - uni-ball vision elite or my Mont Blancs.
So, you guys want to come back to the joys of essays, all-nighters and student admin.

No, just the time before mortgages, tuition, law firms, pre-teen hissy fits, new roofs, car bills, utility bills, etc.
Ah, but they are the evidence of a meaningful life. Endless college essays are more like the evidence of the trials of Sisyphus...
Yes, you get to find out who Sisyphus was, but that doesn't necessarily help in the real world...
Doomed to push a rock uphill in Hades, that keeps rolling back down. Forgot what crime he commiteed though. Was it cannibalistic?

I did not realize that I was Sisyphus.
