Thanks for asking, DAME - and thanks for thinking of my scotch, brd
When I pick Robert up from school, we're headed down for a quick seminar with this FABULOUS young female director (Kate Whorisky) at South Coast Repertory. Then we're heading over to Palm Springs for the rest of the weekend - where a lovely suite in our favorite little resort awaits. So, I'll be spending the bulk of the seekend naked in the sun with the man of my life.
VERY good birthday weekend

DD thinks of everything!
Relatives in England are a good thing - Robert's half British (mother was a war-bride.)

My wife was born in Wales and her mother was English/Scottish.
Long week here. Many adminstrative duties and I set up two new lap tops as well as a new back up program which seems to work.
With a guest in the house - less time to post - Have a Great weekend!

Donald Byrd, the new choreographer for The Color Purple, is based in Seattle now.
Just got back from 'The Last Five Years.' Very interesting. They did some unusual staging... Jamie and Kathy are actually together in several scenes, and since they have 3 different casts, the other cast members appear as other people during certain numbers. I thought it worked very well.
Seeing it again in two weeks... my friend Tim will be playing Jamie then.

Beautiful day here. Shopping for the cousin and girls, party in ths suburbs tonight.
We had a great time last night catching up on five years of family stories.

Morning everyone! It's so nice to get more than 5 hours of sleep!
Lots of errands to do today before going back to the kids, *sigh*. I wish the 3 year olds were old enough to sit through a show (matinee).

Posted: 9/10/05 at 1:14pmNo. I didn't see it. It was starting the week after we left. But the same production played here in the Pasadena Playhouse ( i also missed it) and I heard it was wonderful.
