hep - thanks - me, too! I actually have a couple of them. Shira is especially fond of my little chubby baby one, but she tried to name it so I made it go away re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

Aw, Manny went away.

I don't think we are getting 'March of the Penguins' until next year. BooHoo!

Since Shira started cleaning, I'll let Manny come in and say 'good girl!' And if you really want to see him, do the click to enlarge thing with him - he's really quite wonderful.

DAME - my favorite thing in Chicago was always the Aquarium - always surprised me for where it's at.

I lve the Aquarium but I have done it twice. I want to take advantage that it is not the dead of winter ( like the other times I have been there) and get to explore the city. But I only really have 5 days.

I love aquariums... Baltimore is one of my faves. It always surprises me that Seattle has such a sucky aquarium.

DD - I have one re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

DAME - Oak Park is glorious to travel through - many Wright homes there.

It's pretty ridiculous for me to make suggestions with brdlwyr right there!

Has anyone been to Sydney Aquarium? That is worth seeing.

I'd just like to see Sydney, period! Haven't gotten there . . . yet.

I'm dying to get to the one in Monterey. We were going there last year for Thanksgiving, but ended up in Mendocino instead.

I had cocktails in the Oak Park historic district on Friday at a friend's house. I love the neighborhood. I have many ideas. There are so many buildings in the Loop that are spectacular!

brd - If we ever get to Chicago and have the privilege of meeting you, I'd like for you to recreate that experience with us, please re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel) I never got to see as much of the greater Chicago area as I wanted to. Always in too much of a hurry.

DG - it is so funny because on Friday my friend's wife was out of town, so he relieved the nanny and then had to tend to his 18 month old son. It was actually funny to me to see him change a diaper, but I did admire FLW from his patio.

brd - I can think of nothing better to do while someone ELSE is changing a diaper! I lived in Scottsdale for awhile, and Taliesen West was one of my regular haunts. Someday I need to get to the regular one in Wisconsin.

My wife's friend has a house near Falling Waters and I have never been there!!!!!

I love the Robie House near the University of Chicago.

Robie is wonderful, and I've never been to Falling Waters either. What exactly is wrong with us?

Maybe I shouldn't put that question into a public forum . . .

In a time when I took the time, my kids and I saw the Robie House and the Oak Park area on the same day. (C7 excluded)

"In a time when I took the time"

I'm going to resist the urge to get too philosophical with that one. Well, maybe I'll just say (once) that that sounds like a statement that might cause regret at some point.

ANYWAY, as wonderful as it is to connect a little here tonight, I'm NOT getting anything done.

Just call me Shira re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)
