We are so small, when I left he was the only one. His wife is actuallly rather attractive and a lot of fun. And, as a rule I have only hired ugly and wierd secretaries. (Our new clerk though always has her very low tatoo below the navel showing! Scandelous!)
We are all gay in my office except for the two senior partners and owner. I am also the youngest one.
NYADGAL:
DETAILS PLEASE!
Just stopping in for a minute to say hi...
Dame! I am so sorry that it didn't work out this trip. I was SO looking forward to it. I promise the NEXT time we will set aside lots of time for some Addy-Dame fun!
I had the weekend of all weekends. DG. Hugh Jackman. Who can ask for anything more?!
...but, it's SO good to be home!
Addy;
How was the show from your perspective?
Congrats on going back to school DD! I'm so proud of you! If you need procrastination tips, I've got PLENTY!
Just got back from work and an afterschool youth group event, which was very easy money
So....now homework? Eh, I can procrastinate for AT LEAST another hour!
I thought the show was one of the better ones in a while. It wasn't dominated by any one show, and there were some surprises.
It was fairly entertaining, and Hugh Jackman was there. And he won. And I met him. So, in my opinion, it was pretty fabulous!
The After-Party was amazing. At the Roosevelt Hotel. Total A-list. I never went to bed. Got back to the hotel about 5:30-6:00, changed, grabbed my suitcase and went to the airport... Missy Elliott was the entertainment at the party, and she was great. Even with her injury she put on a great show! I learned how to "scratch" a record by DJ AM (Nicole Richie's fiancee)... who was playing DJ for a while. Chatted with Sandra Oh about Italy for a while... and was able to feast my eyes on Patrick Dempsy while we were waiting for a drink at the bar. Mischa Barton was at the party with Nicole, and the two of them together weigh about 100 pounds. Jessica Simpson was at the party sans Nick, but with quite an entourage. Marcia Cross was seriously nice, and Hugh Jackman was dreamy, dreamy, dreamy...
My brain is fuzzy, so I can't remember all the details, but will continue to post them as they return to my brain!
YOU GO GIRL!
DD - congrats on going back to school!
Hi to everyone
(Brdlwyr, your posts about your weekend cracked me up!)
I echo DAME!
That sounds fantastic Addy! I'm thrilled you had such a good time!
Shira,
Did youknow Hollywood Bowl ended its season this last weekend?
What do you mean by that? No more events til next year?
It's official season endedthis weekend. There will still be some concerts here and there. But the season doesn't start again till next May I believe.
It was a good season!
I filled out a poll they sent me. I said I would like to see more concert productions of musicals. But things a little more current than Camelot.
I agree DAME.
I mean.. look at al the great stuff the Ravina ( ina i=or inia?) festival does.
Ravinia...and yes, those events have been spectacular!

Ravinia is a special place. We do not get there as often as we should. I hope the Sondheim festival is continued for 2006.
If it is I will make it a point to be there.

You never know who you might see at Ravinia!
The first basketball game was a bust 34-12.
I've seen lots of great concerts (and people) at Ravinia -- rumor mill now is YES, Sondheim/Patti fest to continue next year with Gypsy!

Lupone in Gypsy! I have prayed for that! Not really, but at least hope for it.
HI KMF! How are you stud!
