I always have a supply of cream/sugar/coco for the basics -- add in the flavors/nut and chips and always some fresh ice cream at K's -- just give me 30 minutes if it's not in the freezer

I assume fresh lavender and then you mix it with vanilla in the cuisinart?
*kerthump*
I <3 lavendar sorbet in the summer... Had the best in Paris one time...
And I'm sure if you spill any of that icecream. K can get those clothes clean in a couple hours
Kansas, Cookie and K all together!
C-razy! Cool!
yes, fresh lavendar BRD -- hence late spring summer -- cream and sugar -- a pice of heaven -- do Cookie -- all it seems as if you were "missing" is the cream...and Kansas, should I spill...my waher takes care of it all!
Thanks PJ your greeting and seeing your arms thrust in the air is a nice way to come home.
Who else is here tonight ah yes evening cookie, brd.
Kansas! Yay!
A lavender granita would also be refreshing for the summer, sans the cream needed for ice cream...
Granata it is....or ice cream, just PM your preference
oh, I prefer to place myself in the hands of the chef (is it me, or did that sound suggestive?).
omakase
PMing my preference now that's a loaded question. Oops this isn't the thread jack thread
My mother's favorite dessert discovery in Italy was granita di cafe: a cup of chilled espresso poured over the granita with fresh whipped cream on top.
Not knowing they serve it only in southern Italy, I asked all over Tuscany and Venice, but no one had it. Finally, I got to Roma--and it was everywhere!
a granita is an uppity way of saying slushie... Or more akin to an Italian ice...
Uppity???????????
